Opisano warunki, w których dochodzi do infekcji roślin gospodarza oraz wpływ warunków atmosferycznych na rozwój choroby na roślinach. Podano podstawowe informacje na temat rozprzestrzeniania się oraz zimowania C. beticola w warunkach naturalnych. Opisano wpływ na rośliny gospodarza oraz powodowane straty w plonie korzeni i cukru. The weather s impact on the performance of a radio link at the 2.4 GHz ISM (Industry, Scientific and Medical) band had not been yet studied in great detail up to now as it is generally believed that the ultra-high frequency band is not significantly affected by weather conditions. However, our study shows significant correlations between meteorological variables and control frame errors at MAC (Medium Access Control) layer of the IEEE 802.11b/g standard. This study is performed over an outdoor radio link setting which has been monitored for several months. In the sport of cross-country skiing, equipment has a direct influence on results. Ski teams do extensive testing of different ski base grinds and products on a yearly basis. To achieve reliable results, the quality of methods used for testing skis needs to be taken in to account in addition to factors including the physical characteristics of testing personnel and changes in weather conditions. The aim of this study was to introduce a custom-made skitester, that was developed for testing skis on real snow, in laboratory conditions, and to evaluate its precision.
